2.Chablis A.C. Domaine Seguinot Bordet. 2008, France £28
A classic Chablis with considerable richness and weight. Citrus fruit on the nose and a round steely cutting  edge of acidity to taste. The evocative flavours of this wine invites itself to dinner.

3. Spring Creek Estate Sauvignon Blanc 09 Marlborugh New Zealand £26
A lush, generous wine, resulting from low yields, hand picking and no filtration. This is a wine of outstanding grace and quality, a strong example of a full bodied Sauvignon Blanc with gooseberry exuberance. Produced from one of the renowned Jane Hunter’s personal vineyards

The palate is medium bodied with complex melon and peach fruit, finishing with good crisp acidity

A well balanced Merlot. Dark berry fruit characterisics. Full bodied with soft vanilla overtones

Bursting with spicy aromas and typically, flavours of raspberry and black pepper. Eight months in oak provides hints of wood and tannins leading to a well-structured wine, which is smooth and balanced.
